Testimonials
Here’s what educators and program facilitators around the country have to say about using 4Leaf Learning’s out-of-school time curricula with their students.
“EDGE brought out a level of excitement and confidence in our students”
“Our students jumped right in. They loved the chance to build, test, revise, and collaborate. The challenges sparked curiosity and friendly competition, and we saw students who are usually quiet step up as leaders. They especially enjoyed seeing their ideas come to life and learning that engineering is an iterative, creative process, not just following directions.
EDGE brought out a level of excitement and confidence in our students that we don’t always get to see. The curriculum made engineering feel accessible, fun, and connected to real issues they care about.”

“I noticed an increase in teamwork, self-confidence, & positive communication”
My students really enjoyed the Clover for Youth program and looked forward to each session. The activities were interactive and relatable, which helped them open up and participate more freely. I noticed an increase in teamwork, self-confidence, and positive communication among the group as the program went on.
Bringing Clover for Youth to Beyond the Bell was amazing to watch—our students lit up with excitement, connected with one another, and really took ownership of their growth. They had fun while learning more about themselves and what it means to be part of a supportive community.

“an opportunity for them to be able to play with things, be hands on with it, be engaged, inquire, get their questions answered”
I think they enjoyed it more because in school settings things can be so … super structured where the kids don’t have that freedom to explore and be free.
I think they enjoyed it more because it was what they wanted to do… so even though we had this set curriculum, they had more voice and choice and freedom in their work…this was an opportunity for them to be able to play with things, be hands on with it, be engaged, inquire, get their questions answered in real time.

The combination of science exploration, literacy, and social-emotional learning helped students better understand how the brain works and how emotions, stress, and decision-making are connected. We saw strong participation, thoughtful discussions, and meaningful peer interaction, with students applying what they learned to both academic settings and everyday life. Each time we implemented Project BRAINY, the curriculum consistently met the needs of our youth and kept them excited to learn.
Project BRAINY brought science, literacy, and social-emotional learning together in a way that truly clicked for our middle school students.
“…engaging, purposeful, & gave our kids a deeper understanding of themselves & how their brains work”

“[F]or the kids that I serve, having an outlet to be able to express things that have gone on and in a safe environment, in a small group was super, super beneficial.”
“It helps young people really figure out who they are if they’re unsure.”
“I think it made it a little more real to them on what exactly do those [engineering]
careers entail.”
“[S]ome of the kids that have already completed the curriculum want to come back and participate during some of their favorite lessons.”
